Okay, so I am officially in love with my T-Mobile MyTouch. Seriously, if you have T-Mobile and want a smartphone, this is the one! And the best part? My monthly bill, including the best data package they have and everything I need to access my email and the web on my phone, is $4.99 more a month than I was paying with my Razr.
IN. LOVE.
I've now put the entire school year calendar on my phone--every inservice, every day off, all breaks, EVERYTHING that's listed on the district website--and all the pre-school meetings we have. Plus my chiropractic appointment in a couple of weeks, with a 24-hour reminder set. And I've given myself a backup alarm, so no more oversleeping! I'll have to get up to walk across the room and get the phone off the charger to turn it off. Smart, y/y?
I've also downloaded a bunch of my music and quite a few of my pics onto the phone, and now have David Tennant, in all his bearded "Who Do You Think You Are?" glory, as my wallpaper. And I've played with ringtones, too, so a few select folks have "Doctorin' the TARDIS" play when they call, and a few other select folks have quotes from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. For example, when my sister calls, it plays, "We are now the knights who say ICKY ICKY ICKY ICKY PTANG ZU-BOING (mutter)." For my niece, it's "Is there anywhere in this town where we could buy a SHRUBBERY?"
And someone's gonna get "Making Love Out of Nothing At All." Just because I have a secret (well, not anymore, but still) desperate adoration for that song. AIR SUPPLY FTW.
I'm still keeping "Another Brick in the Wall Pt 2" as my default ringtone, though. Ironic!ringtone is ironic!
(And now I think I'd best get to bed before I squee all over you some more.
Oh, all right. One more time.
NEW PHONE SQUEE!)
