Anyone want to put some Good Thinkings out there?
One of my godparents' family friends (a high-school friend of their second-oldest son, to be specific) is a principal at one of the DoDDS middle schools in Germany. My godmother, Joan, was telling him about me, and he gave her his email addresses and told her to pass them along to me. She did, and I sent him several questions, one of which was, "is there anything proactive I could/should be doing?" He suggested I send emails to the principals of the schools I'm interested in, detailing my experience and qualifications, and expressing my interest in working there.
So I did.
Twenty-three schools.
This morning.
Teachers are supposed to be reporting back to school in the DoDDS system on the 25th of August. This needs to happen fast if it's going to happen this year. Any and all Good Thinkings (tm) would be MUCH appreciated! :)
