Neighbours with pyrotechnics + other neighbours watching said pyrotechnics and yelling in delight = kitty under the bed. Poor thing. The icon is for her, because I just know that's what she's thinking.

Yeah, one of ours sat in the living room with her claws hooked into the carpet until my husband finally took pity on her and pulled up the sofa cover so she could hide underneath.

Yeah i dunno if you saw my post last night but my dog jumped into a half-full bath trying to hide from the fireworks here...our poor critters!
