Irony, thy name is teabagging
Pointed out by the Rachel Maddow show, but it amused me:
Anybody notice where the teabagging protests--protests against taxes, mind you--were taking place? A lot of them, at least.
Parks.
Um. Just where exactly does the funding for those parks come from? Oh, yeah. TAXES.
Also, small government is not a bad idea. Neither is a balanced budget and paying off the debt we've acquired, rather than going deeper. I bet if we could do that, we'd end up with a really strong economy and a really strong dollar.
Kind of like we had in the '90s, when the taxes on the top 1% of Americans were at the same rate as the new budget proposes. Hmmm.
