**exhausted**
You wouldn't think that watching students take a test for 3 hours would be so exhausting, would you?
I'm so tired. Tired, tired, TIRED. And sore--got a stress headache that won't quit (and wouldn't go away even after taking more ibuprofen than I probably should have). Tried to get in to see my chiropractor today, but no go.
No energy at all... I'm sitting here watching Season 1 of The West Wing and playing Bejeweled online because I don't have the brain power to do anything else.
I need a longer-than-two-days weekend. Not going to happen, of course - and next week will be worse, because as a result of the testing schedule, I will lose two (!) planning periods. That means I work for six hours straight, with a half-hour lunch in the middle and no other break. Two days of the week.
This testing crap can end any time now. Really.
The good news: 40 more days left of school. The bad news: no more days off until Memorial Day (last Monday of May).
'Scuse me while I go take some Tylenol and go to bed at an insanely early hour.
