Quite a day
Breakfast today with souleswanderer and her son--was very good!--and then off to watch Beowulf. It was VERY well done--not identical to the poem, but certainly very respecful of it. And after all, what do you expect when Neil Gaiman co-authors the script? I enjoyed it immensely--it was definitely worth it.
After that, I went to pick up my mom so she could drop a bill in the mail, and then she took me out to dinner. It's indicative of how sick I've been that I'm now officially exhausted and considering going to bed. At 5:15. Pretty pathetic, I know, but my head hurts and my face hurts and I have to be up at insane o'clock in the morning. And then I have to go to choir rehearsal, because we're singing in just a couple of weeks or so. Thank God it's a short week. I couldn't face five full days of work right now.
OK, quite enough whining--y'all are tired of it, I'm sure! :)
