Y'know how they say, "If you want something done, give it to the busiest person you know?"
I spent most of my plan today running around the school taking care of department-head stuff and/or on the phone with people. Kids are coming in for class in about 5 minutes, so I'll be teaching until 1:50 (except for my half-hour lunch).
Tomorrow, I have a class on Emergency Response Search and Rescue from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. I signed up for it purely because I think it would be a Good Thing (tm) to know, living here in earthquake-and-volcano country. Sunday, some friends of mine who got married last month in CO Springs are having a wedding reception, so I'm going to that. And then back to work Monday.
I'm REALLY tempted to take Monday off, just so I can have a day to rest and/or do some housework! And I have a baby gift to finish making, too. And a fic to beta. And two DW fics and two HP fics to write.
Gah. WHY do I do this to myself?
