I'm going to have a good day, dammit.
Actually, I'm having a much better day now than I was this morning. I bitched to y'all, and then I bitched to my friend who teaches next door, and now I feel better. Yay!
* got compliments on my new haircut/style (it really does look cute)
* got good kids in my morning classes
* realised that if I'm going to miss a leadership team meeting, at least it was on a day when the Superintendent's going to be here, so I don't have to run the whole thing.
* listened to the English/Social Studies teachers talking about their huge class sizes (over 30, almost all of them) and kept my mouth shut about my three (!) classes, which each have 20 or 21 students.
* got lovely comments to my last entry from folx who cheered me up.
