as noted, this will be posted via the myspace too. it seems that since everyone is on there now, that is where i post....strange.
i just returned from the great southwest. arizona is wonderful and i really would move there given better circumstances. being tied to someone really changes that. we did the normal things during the visit - mountain climb, rawhide, dinnner, south mountain, glitters, etc. since it wasn't a vacation, there were things i would have liked to do, but we didnt! still, so nice to be out there and visit with the family.
from this trip, i have remembered how much i like to just see and do things. i have been thinking of a career change that would allow some more of that. also, i have thought of some good travel goals (which still is hard when you are tied to someone else but we will see if it can work out).
Here it goes:
July '07: Wedding in NY, then visit Marie who will be interning in NYC - so this may be two trips
by Dec '08: Go to France, see Marie's family and do some excursions. if lucky, i would like to hit up spain and germany
by Dec '11: do ireland
other random things i would like to plan:
seattle, boston, atlanta to see mary, arizona - yes, again!, india, china, egypt. i think that is about all on my mind now.
who knows if any of this will happen. i know i will be in nyc this coming summer - have to see marie! france i am really pushing for, and attempting to learn some of the language too. if you want something bad enough, it will be yours - except maybe when it comes to people! hehe.
