I got this call at 148 this morning. Ridiculous. From some number out of Chicago. I dont know that many people in the City, but I guess it is possible that it was one of them. Anyway, if you are going to call specifically in the middle of the night, please leave a message. And if you are in jail or something crazy like that, just call again, then I will probably answer the phone. No glasses and being startled awake by the cell phone is not a perfect combination for getting it answered. Plus, I have to find where I left it!
On another note. I did brackets for my first day on the job. I have Syracuse making some huge upsets, but falling short of the final game. I also last minute changed UCLA to Gonzaga. I think that was a HORRIBLE move. I wanted to go with Villanova for the win since I have heard a great deal, but I hate picking #1 seeds. So, I take NC. HAHA, I never watch the NCAA, but I have now been watching the scores. SO glad BC pulled it off in OT, think that is one team of mine that had won yesterday afternoon!
Oh, new job....eh, ok. Boring and slow. But, 12/hr to simply answer a phone is good. I have another interview today though - Purdue Cal. I would head the office of the school of education and be the dean's 'assistant' so to speak. Sounds like a load of work, so we will see what happens. Pay is not great, but benefits may be worth it...I could take classes for free!!!
