Best day of the year so far.
It's my payday and I got a lot of overtimes so I was prepared for a bit of money but I got paid a lot more. Having a lot of money is awesome.
The boyfriend orchestrated a really cute thing for me today when he pretended that he only had a birthday card for me with money in it. I was shocked at the money, but I appreciated his card, I was nearly bursting in tears because the message was so heartwarming. Then he saw me all red and was worried, he finally admitted that the money thing was just a joke and he made me play a game before he will give his real gift. I won the game and he handed me a bag full of colored softballs and he told me to 'look deeper inside' and I saw a Haruki Murakami "Wild Sheep Chase" book. I was so happy I jumped up and hugged him, um, ok choked him?
Then he told me to feel his back and I was curious so I did so. He was hiding a Haruki Murakami "Kafka on the Shore", the very editon that I liked!
Then we went out and he made me eat blueberry cheescake and a strawberry parfait. Then dinner we had a buffet thing and went out for movies.
My friends also gave me 2 cakes, cappucino and chocolate, and one squirrel keychain! Awesome day, Y/Y/Y?
