Michigan Sand Dunes

Well, today I went to the Lake Michigan Sand Dune state park or whatever, and it was FUN. I'm tired, but it's a good tired, like the tired you get after a full day of fun-ness. These dunes are roughly 300-400 ft high, and it's fine grain sand, so you just sink in and it takes forever to climb them, and it makes you feel so out of shape, but once you get to the top you have a great view of the lake. We (Jeff--I think he has a crush on me...Hannah--bizarre, but entertaining home schooled girl...Tim--scrawny boy in all meanings of the word but all around nice...and Paul--the pastor's son, Jeff kept accidentally calling him "Phil") made the mistake of going up and over one, without water, and Jeff almost passed out, and I almost threw up. And all of us burned our feet...Hannah kept saying the sand reminded her of Dante's The Inferno. Then swimming...ah the swimming. The water was PERFECT!!! Warm enough that you could go right in it, cool enough that it kept away the overheating in the sun and 90+ weather (roughly 35 C for those of you on metrics). So the lake was gorgeous, and the company was pretty good, and Culver's is amazing, and I'm tired and am going to go to bed.
