I'm babysitting, and just got Olivia to bed, and she had me read her a story version of Macbeth for her bedtime reading. I have no clue how that would help her sleep except boring her to sleep...personally if I was 5-yrs-old that story would give me nightmeres. True, when MIB came out at first THAT gave me nightmeres...but I was a fragile 7-yr-old...^_^;;
Let's see here, I got grounded from the computer for half the week or so because I was reading knk fiction before doing my homework and mom got mad... heh. I still have the computers at school though, so lj wasn't off limits entirely...which was a small comfort. Now it's Spring Break, and the whole thing is crammed. Monday and Tuesday I'm at Grandma and Grandpa's because I promised them a while back that I would and...well...let's just hope that grandma realizes I'm not 8 anymore during this time of bonding...because I think I seriously might kill the poor old woman if she tries to give me another barbie. I love her dearly, but she's rather patronizing...to the point where I'm scare that she'll pinch my cheeks or something, but usually she settles for one of those rib-crushing hugs and cooes at me all the time. I think that's scarier than pinching cheeks personally, but maybe if she pinched cheeks I'd think that was scarier...I'm not sure.
Went shopping in Rochester today, that was a semi-fun time. Chin's is awesome. Had acobo noodles, which REALLY helped my cold. I could breathe by the time I was halfway through eating lunch. And I got an awesome Easter dress. It's pink and green (patterned, kinda patchy too) and strapless. But not whorishly strapless, it's just cute, and I can wear a sweater over it. And it's got roses edging the top and around the waist. It's really cute. and was $30, which is pretty good considering. Although I must say I hate the price part about clothes shopping. Guys always have cheaper clothing options than girls, and it's usually higher quality as well. Why don't the feminists attack the clothing industry?
OH! And I bought Naked Empire by Terry Goodkind, because I'm sick of trying to find it at a library. I was thinking about getting Chain Fire too if I could find it, but it's only out in hard cover, so I'm going to wait. But it's been a while. I was reading and got through the first few pages and then started thinking (since they hadn't been mentioned yet) "Where's Tom and Cara?" and then it took me a while to remember who Freidrich was...for which I feel ashamed. But otherwise I think it's all come back to me and it's still kick butt good.
Now I'm going to devote my attention to talking to certain people who are online and reading. Good night.
