Wrote this a while ago, then found it today while transferring stuff into my thumbdrive.
Based off my original story again. I'm totally proud of BABYLON Dream okay, shuddap.
It won't make any sense (not really), since the info I've given about my characters and plot so far are kinda... limited, but just try to enjoy the dramatism (hopefully)?
I guess I'll make use of the pathetic June Holiday I have to make type out proper profiles and plot developments and to organise whatever already-released exerpts so far? Maybe I'll write it out first as well, 'cuz although my writing's like crap, I don't exactly feel like waiting til the end of the year to TRY illustrating it. Hmm.

So Much for a Willing Disguise
Characters: Fukajima Raido (POV), Fukajima Reina, Mitsukai Aris, Mentioned Ochre Ilhein & Vastyl Laan
Rating: K (I swear I will never be able to write anything beyond T for mild language....)
Summary (or rather, background info): At one key point of the plot, the group (all protagonists above, including Rikanna and Midazo, both of whom aren't mentioned here) have to infiltrate an important event in order to gain information on an organization using underhand means to advance in the King's Tournament. (If it helps, think Kuroshitsuji, just a little.) After dishing out roles based on suitability, Rai's in the decoy group, whose role is to basically take part in the event to cover the others who are running about somewhere eavesdropping.

Oh, dear GOD. What have I just gotten myself into…?
Literally. A dress. A DRESS, of all things! The shame. I shall never be able to live this down. I’m going to be teased about this for the rest of my life, no doubt about it.
Okay, so maybe I did agree to be disguised when Aris-nee said that I had to be (I AM part of the Decoy Team, afterall), but she certainly never mentioned anything about the fact that I had to be disguised as a GIRL. Apparently, I don’t look ‘manly’ enough to warrant male clothing. So Vastyl-nii figured, if I couldn’t pose as a male, then perhaps I could as a female. I’m going to kill him once this entire affair is over, I swear.
What bugs me the most about having to dress as a girl is the fact that the degree of my ‘manliness’ depends entirely on what I wear, as Ochre put it, in his usual monotone, no less. Somehow almost everything that comes of Ochre’s mouth sounds vaguely insulting, due to the way he deadpans everything. He was obviously being sarcastic in this case, though.
Right, right, the dress. The fact that I had to wear one to begin with would have been bad enough, but apparently some bright spark had suggested that one with a short skirt would work better as a disguise (and I had a good idea who said that, since there was only one idiot who could ever come up with something so outrageous), as no one would ever believe that a guy would wear a mini-skirt.
“What?” I had paled (visibly) and protested weakly when Aris-nee held up the dress for me to see. It was simple, a lush emerald green in color, with a rather flared and ruffled skirt. The short sleeves and skirt were trimmed with a rather intricate lace pattern and the back was completely bare and exposed, the dress held up by three sets of strings down the length of the back, meant to be tied together when worn. Sure, it looked decently classy, but it also looked like something a twelve-year-old might wear... Oh, wait.
“I can’t wear that! It’s even shorter than the length of Rei’s pants!” Rei, help me out here! I pleaded to my sister mentally. She was a psychic, so she could easily read my mind.
There was definitely a glint in her eyes when she glanced at me before speaking. Uh-oh, bad sign, I thought. Once she has an idea in her head, there’s no stopping her. I could almost feel my life shortening.
“Weeeeell, I duuunnoooo~” Dammit, Rei’s a traitor! I’m her BIG BROTHER! “The dress does look pretty good~ It’s even green and everything! We wear plenty of green, don’t we, Rai? Well, purple too, but that’s beside the point.”
“I specially picked this out with that thought in mind,” Aris-nee declared proudly, as if she had just won a prize. "Don't worry, you can wear these shorts, too." She showed them to me.
I remained aghast. "They're the type of shorts lolitas wear."
“It's better than nothing, isn't it? That’s settled, then.”
But I didn’t agree to anything-! Why is Reina always making such unreasonable decisions on my behalf?! She’s obviously trying to humiliate me, isn’t she?! It’s unfair, really, that she was in the Infiltration Team, or I would have found a way to embarrass her, too.
“Dress aside, we have to make him look more like a girl. We'll have to hide the fact that he's heterochromatic as well. I guess colored contacts could solve that problem, but that would be considered the least of our worries.”
“No worries, Aris-nee. The moment he dons that dress you wouldn’t believe that Rai’s really a guy.”
I’m really going to throttle my sister one of these days.
“I suppose we could flatten his hair and do it up nicely, maybe add some hair extensions. Rai, remove ‘yer headband,” she ordered. I grudgingly complied and allowed Aris-nee to attack my rust-colored hair with a wet comb. Within seconds, my hair stuck flat to my scalp. Ugh, there goes all the time I spent in the morning ruffling it up.
...Wait, why am I still even obeying them? I should just make a run for it and try to flee as far as I can before Aris-nee catches and incinerates me with magic. At least I’d die a man, then.
Reina untied her ponytail and passed the large emerald ribbon to Aris. “Use this.”
Too late, Rai, I silently thought to myself. Your fate is sealed.
