If you hear a crack in your mouth, it's definitely a bad thing

Today I woke up at 4am after hearing a crack in my mouth. It was a horrifying experience for I thought I had fractured my Ni-Ti wire (an impossible feat but hey, I freak out easily =p). Rushed to the toilet to check and thank god my braces went intact. I let out a sigh of relief but I just realised the cause of the sound - my lateral incisor's edge fractured. (T__T) *sobs* Now I have a tiny notch at the edge of my tooth. =(  I came to the conclusion after noticing that my left incisor edge wasn't as straight anymore and a previous dentist once told me I had a fracture line on the same tooth (no idea how that line came about in the first place so I didn't really bothered). Didn't realise that I actually grind my teeth at night. (>__<) Moh. Hope when my teeth gets straightened, the small gap won't be noticeable. *crosses fingers* (*o*)
