Looking up from his book, Changmin winced as he saw the position his lover was in. Junsu had his body weighed down on Yoochun’s, his arm slung around his neck in a death grip. Changmin chuckled as Yunho walked into the living room. The other widened his eyes as he took in the scene in front of him; he furrowed his eyebrows before saying, “Junsu...”
“Yes hyung?” Junsu looked up from his position on the floor, and grinned, almost gleeful.
Yunho sighed before continuing, “I know you want to try out that new boxing move you saw on T.V last night but...I just want to let you know that if you don’t let go, Yoochun might suffocate and die a very painful and horrible death. You may or may not go to prison for it...”
“Aww, don’t worry Yunho-shii! I’ll take good care of Chunnie~” Junsu laughed, letting one arm loose to pull at Yoochun’s cheek causing the latter to yelp.
Oh well, Yunho did try his best, shrugging his shoulders he went to the kitchen to grab a drink.
“Can’t breathe... Jaejoong help!” Yoochun whispered a strangled cry.
Jaejoong sensing his best friend was in danger; ran out of the kitchen. Holding a spatula as a weapon, his pink apron stained with flour from the cookies he was currently baking. “Yah! Kim Junsu! Get your hands off of him!”
As Jaejoong ran to the pair, Junsu jumped up and bounded for his room (any room really) screaming... squealing when Jaejoong caught up to him and tickled him.
“Yeah! Go for it Jaejoong!” Yoochun cheered him on, in English nonetheless, as Junsu squirmed and half cried beneath the eldest. But, of course, Yoochun being Yoochun couldn’t help but join in.
Changmin merely scoffed at his hyungs before trying to continue reading his book.
“You know,” Changmin almost jumped up from the sofa as Yunho stood next to him, surprise clearly written on his face, “Sometimes it just feels as if we’re both the fathers...”
Changmin settled then chuckled at the thought, “I guess so...but I mean we shouldn’t be; it’s not like we ever really stop them from killing each other anyway.”
Yunho nodded his head, “True...So very true.” Taking a small sip from his beer, he went over to his room, making sure to sidestep past the mass of giggling bodies on the floor.
A few minutes later Changmin retreated to his bedroom, the chaos outside affecting his reading. Closing the door so that the noises were muffled, he lay on his bed, head propped up against the headboard. Opening his book to the page he was on, he tried to find the last word he read. Slowly beginning to indulge in the book, he didn’t hear the faint sound of the door turning on its hinges. He gasped a second later as he felt a warmth press onto his body. He looked over his book to find Yoochun resting his body atop of his, using his stomach as a pillow, Yoochun nuzzled up to Changmin.
Changmin smirked before a thought crossed his mind.
“Yoochun...” he asked cautiously.
Yoochun hummed a reply, his mind slurred as sleep began to overtake him.
“Why me?”
Yoochun paused, his eyes wide as he looked at Changmin with a questioning look, sleep soon forgotten.
“I mean,” Changmin began as he discarded his book, “Why did you pick me?” Choosing to avoid the latter’s gaze, he continued, “As a,” Changmin hesitated, “...lover...
“You could have picked Junsu; you always have fun with him no matter what. Or you could have picked Jaejoong, he’s practically part of you, your best friend...but you picked me instead...why?” he looked at Yoochun, insecurity clouding his usual bright eyes.
Yoochun smiled slowly, looking down he said, “You forgot Yunho.”
Changmin perked up and seemed almost annoyed, looking away with a pout he murmured, “Uh...yeah and our ever kind and caring leader.”
Yoochun chuckled as he straddled the other, hands on either side, he said ever so simply, “Because I love you.”
As Changmin gazed into Yoochun’s brown orbs, he felt the sincerity, the honesty, the love all packed up and neatly wrapped. And yet overflowing, emitting, and radiating from the other.
Changmin flushed like he usually did, “Yeah but, why?”
Changmin decided to be brave today. Thinking of all the times when he had just let the subject go and never questioned the elder.
Yoochun raised an eyebrow and smiled, “Do I need to have a reason Min?” He paused. Thinking of a way to describe to Changmin the feelings he had been harbouring for the other ever since they met. Yoochun continued, “Do I need to have a reason for always being drawn to you? Do I...need to have a reason for always wanting to protect you, even at the cost of my own flesh and blood? Do I need to have a reason for always wanting to stay by your side, even if the world shifts and changes, for better or for worse? Do I need to have a reason for just...loving you..., Min?”
By now, Yoochun was so close Changmin could feel his breath on his lips. “Because Min, the only reason for those things is because...I love you. Nothing else has the height and depth to explain it.”
Gasping Changmin held his breath as Yoochun held his gaze. Yoochun then dipped in to taste the younger’s mouth but was stopped, slim fingers on red lips. “So then, does that mean you’ll never leave me?”
A look crossed Yoochun’s face which made Changmin laugh, Of Course You Wouldn’t. He then captured Yoochun’s lips in a hot, searing, powerful, heart stopping kiss.
Sealing the deal.
