You know you've always wanted one...
Here you'll find information on the types of hats that I make, as well as a the gallery of hats I've made in the past. Some of these hats might have been sold, but in most cases replicas can be ordered. To see which hats are currently for sale, please follow THIS LINK.
- Mini Pirate Hat (tricorn)
For that bucaneer feeling, without looking too much like a costume. Sizes: Brim diameter: The size of a Mini-disk. Top Diameter: Gotta measure it! Height: 4 cm ;)
- Heart Headpiece
Little heart-shaped box placed on top of a headband. Sizes: Top Diameter (aprox): The sice of a CD/DVD. Height: 4 cm.
- Mini Top-Hat
These are not just taller Cake Hats, their tops have a slightly conical shape that gives them an elegant look. Sizes: Brim diameter: Slightly larger than a CD/DVD. Top Diameter: Slightly larger than a Mini Disk. Height: 7 cm.
- Mini Top-Hat w/Bent Brim
Just like a Top Hat, only but with an elegant bent brim.
Sizes: Brim diameter: Slightly larger than a CD/DVD. Top Diameter: Slightly larger than a Mini Disk. Height: 7 cm.
- Mini Cake-hat
This lovely mini-hat is quite similar to a boater hat, and because of its proportions can look like a cake in a plate if decorated like one. Of course, hats don't need to look like cakes always...
Sizes: Brim diameter: the size of a CD/DVD. Top Diameter: the size of a Mini Disk. Height: 4 cm (can be made taller if you want).
- Poupeé Girl Cake-hat Replica
Are you a fan of Poupeé Girl? Then show it (and ADD ME!)!!! This hat was made to celebrate the love for that addictive site and, of course, cake.
The hat is made with white cotton (plate) and beige satin (cake). Decorations include white and red satin ribbons; and the strawberries, chocolate and fondant are modeled in cold porcelain.
Sizes: Brim diameter: the size of a CD/DVD. Top Diameter: the size of a Mini Disk. Height: 5 cm
- Cake Doll Hat
Just like a Cake Hat, only smaller, intended for a doll's head (though they look just as lovely in human heads).
Sizes: Brim diameter: 9 cm. Top Diameter: 6 cm. Height: 3 cm. Other sizes can be custom ordered.
How to order a custom-made hat:
Please write an e-mail to antares_chan(at)hotmail.com with the following information:
- Size/Type: Please chose between the types of hat I make, and if you want a different size.
- Colors: For fabric, decorations, etc. I currently have pink, white and black cotton, plus red and beige satin. Buying supplies (other fabrics, ribbons, lace, etc) will be reflected in the final price.
- Ideas: What kind of decoration you're interested in (please take a look at my galleries in order to know what I do best).
- Pictures (if you have them): Because a picture is worth 1000 words.
- Fabric (if you have it): You want your hat to match perfectly your dress, but you don't have time or patience to make one, or don't know how to? Send me your fabric (or lace, or anything you want) and I'll make the hat for you!
Please bear in mind all hats are hand-made of cardboard covered in fabric (they're NOT bought in craft stores), and decorations are made with cold porcelain and/or silicone (plus pearls, rhinestones, lace, ribbons, etc).
With your hat you'll receive two small barrettes for you to glue (or sew) on to your hat, so you can wear it anyway you like it.
The price depends on the complexity if the assingment, and the shipping fee depends on the final weight of the boxed items.
