17 months
So Liam is now 17 months old! Well, technically that happened on Friday, but close enough. We finally resolved the daycare situation....by switching to a nanny-share with one of the other fellows. I was whining about daycare to this fellow one day and he was like, "hmm, our older son just started daycare, but we still have a nanny for our younger son, but of course are now paying more..." and it just worked out! Liam seems to be doing really well there. For one thing, she changes his diaper more than once a day (typically 4 times). Plus she also gives us a much better idea how much he's eating/drinking. It's less convenient hours-wise, but the other family is willing to watch Liam until I can get there on days clinic runs really late since the nanny goes to their house and therefore they never have to drop their son off. The other kid who's at home is 2 1/2, so slightly more than a year older than Liam. He is having to learn how to deal with a smaller kid, but seems to be doing pretty well.
