I finally finished my tauren shaman!
He finally has clothes! They aren't anything really fancy -- the pattern is based off of the cheap-o starter shaman gear, but I changed the colors because I like green better.
From the back...
Just the clothes...
I also realized that Proudhorn doesn't have a broken horn at all (I'm not very perceptive sometimes), so I had to make a second. Because I didn't like how curly the first horn came out, I just made two new ones. Ahhh. Much better. But the best new feature is, of course ...
... weapons! Proudhorn uses a mace and shield.
The mace is made of black vinyl, and the little spikes were a real pain in the butt. The handle is wood. The head is entirely soft, though, and is pretty squishy and fun to bop my brother with. The shield's made of bark from a tree my dad and I cut down (not for this purpose, ha), with some leather straps. I glued them first, which didn't work very well, and ended up 'nailing' the straps in with pins. They're nice and sturdy now.
And because no one can resist a cute tauren tail, one last parting shot:
(If you want info on how I made him, scale, etc, check out my
original entry :D)
