Well, I have another prayer request. So....here it go.
Chamber Choir, University Orchestra, University Choir and Choral Union are performing a dedication concert in the honor of the late Dr. Paul Balshaw. I will be performing with the Chamber Choir in a small section of Gabrieli's "In Eclesis." I will also be singing the tenor quartet and solo parts in Haydn's "Paukenmasse." Dr. Balshaw was one of the finest musicians, and finest men I have ever known. (If I butchered any of the names above, forgive me. I don't have the music in front of me.)
So....pray for us. Dr. Balshaw deserves more than just one concert. The man built the fine arts department from the bottom up. He is the sole purpose for thousands of musicians graduating. His benevolent hand stretched far and wide. He deserves any honor that we can give him.
So please pray hard. I want to do good for him.
