Ok. Update time.
The opera is over! Both casts were well received. We did a great job, and both the music and theatre departments seem to be pleased. That makes me happy. Maybe now the two departments will get along enough to do more opera/musicals/etc. I have been in two productions in the playhouse, and if I had to put my finger in the problem, I would say that it is the music department's fault that they don't get along. The theatre people have been nothing but curteous and respectful. We musicians stormed in there and acted like we owned the place. I know for sure that some of us annoyed the crap out of the costume crew. I admit that I was a pain at first, because of the strangeness of my costume. But I cooled off and let them do their work without complaint. I know that the stage crew was pissed because some of the actors didn't show up to strike the stage. I stayed until the very end of the strike. It pisses me off that some of the actors didn't appreciate what they did for us.
It pisses me off a lot.
Moving on.
The opera is done, and now I have time to do my homework. Am I going to get it all done on time? I don't think so. I'm going to beg one of my teachers for an extention on my paper. Blegh! I don't want to talk about that, either.
I may, eventually, have time to run my games again. That will be nice. It will be great to start my Game of Thrones game.
Blegh. I'm not in the mood to talk.
Oh...and being single again sucks.
