I live across from an emu farm
so I found an apartment!
129th and 5th - the building is bright blue and red painted in that thick outdoor paint that kind of melts in the heat but it's on a nice block that feels neighborhood-y and is close to the express train down to my school and it's essentially a closet but it's all my own and I can bring my cat and honestly I'm just glad I don't have to look anymore
I'm off to maine in a few weeks to see various family members and perhaps hittormiss and I coud really use some time up there (and away from this damn humidity). I'm more than ready to get out of this ol valley - though I will miss the green
(and wildlife - a bear came to the birdfeeder last night - tore it down more like)
