according to the canon website I did the compare products; Our cameras (the SD1000, and the SD750 are in fact quite the same! The only difference really, is that instead of your settings being on two options, mine are organized in three tiers: Camera, Video, Scene (Night shot, portrait, etc)
but to make mine quite superior to yours (because I must be top dog) Is the fact I have an Extra Inch.
so Yeah, and consumers consider the SD750 a much better choice than yours :P

yours is cheaper. (it's also on clearance at the local Target so you're only paying a good 100 dollars for it). but either way:
SD750>SD1000 (even if your number is bigger than mine, in fact mine was released after yours :P)
