Our baby car is sick...we knew this time would come. You can never be prepared for baby cars getting sick. So here is the whole story.
fille_de_livre kymc and I went to dinner at Calo's. We had a wonderful time. Great food, great conversation a wonderful night out.
After dinner we did a little shopping and were on our way to T's for drinks when baby car caught the hiccups. The dash went dark, the radio
when out and the car started to sputter. We got to Foster and Ashland when the car stalled.
kymc made me wait 10 minutes before I
tried to start the car. It started...we started home...but the lights were not in my favor. Red light...green light...car stalls in the middle of
Ashland. Thankfully
pheret1 came to our aid. We jumped the car...car stalled...jumped the car...car stalled.
fille_de_livre steered
while
kymc and I pushed the car on to a side street.
pheret1 drove all of us back to our place. Where
pheret1 got to meet
Jelly Bean, who is just so cute. What a nice end to a adventurous evening.
I called off of work so I could deal with the car issue.
I got up this moring, leashed up Fribley and started towards the car. I got as far as the front porch...did you know that drizzle freezes? I took
the express lane to the sidewalk (yes this is a flash back to 5 yeas ago when I fell down the steps leading to major back issues). I don't
think this is following the same track as the last fall, but I do see Butt Bruising in my near future.
So I got to the car and she would not start. A nice woman gave the car a jump and it stalled out.
fille_de_livre decided to come home
to help me deal with car issues. We walked over to the shop on the corner and they were very helpful. The woman called a tow truck and
we met them at baby car. I got a call from the shop...they are fixing our alternator...baby car will run again.
