Sick kitten
Kait called me today, worried about a very sick kitten. Jelly Bean, was not able to stand up in the litter, Kait let her go back to sleep and Jelly Bean soiled herself while she was sleeping. Kait made a vet appointment, and I decided to come home. When I got home and the little one was very lethargic, and she soiled herself again. The vet said that she was very lucky we got her in, she was hypothermic, and dehydrated. They have her on a kitty IV and she seems to be perking up. But we are still very worried. Hopefully, she will come home tonight; otherwise she will be spending the night at Kitty ER. Although, if she perks up too much, she is going to throw a kitten temper tantrum, and the vets will not like that.
