I got automatic acceptance into CAPA (which means I got in based on my grades). Hurrahs for me! After that happened asked Ms. Lewis why I should give a shit about my grades for the rest of the year.
Me: So, other than any personal goals that I may have, why should I care about my classes until CAPA?
Her: Because CAPA can unaccept you.
Me: Has that ever actually happened?
Her: No... but... in theory.
Me: Right.
Her: But these grades will follow you to college, they stick with you.
Me: Because we all know how much those colleges look at your grades from when you were 13!
Her: Shut up. Don't do bad because everyone else will realize that they can do bad and then where would we be?
Me: Meh, fair enough.
I'M SO FUCKING EXCITED FOR CHRISTMAS BREAK. (iMac and iPod and a trip to NYC (Grey Gardens, Deuce, and Company, I've decided) in my presents this year! I feel spoiled, but it's okay, cuz the iMac is really my present from last year from my mom that I never got, but still...)
Guess what I'm giving Jonni for an x-mas gift? A waterbottle with Barbra Streisand's face modge-podged all over it. YESH. I still need to figure out everything else.
They blocked Wikipedia from school computers. I'm about to slap someone in the face. Once they block BroadwayWorld.com... bitches betta watch out.
