a day by the mill

We went to the Wayside Inn with James's uncle a few weekends ago to wander around and take some photos. This one is up above the mill, much more serene than the water flowing down to the wheel.
Happily, I realized that some of the lush green ground cover was poison ivy before James or I stepped in it. I have been in it many a time but never gotten it, however, James is indeed allergic to it, and nearly sat right in it.
His uncle and I got a chuckle.
It was a beautiful day out, particularly in light of the weather having been such a mood swinging beast.
