"Best New Romantic Fantasy" - A Very Brief Review

The cover should have warned me. A huge crow, for God's sake! How romantic can a crow be? Romance for me is something full of love and light, not the dark, dreadful stuff most of the stories in this book seem to wallow in. This anthology disappointed me, and of the 15 stories in it, I enjoyed only 3: "Jane: A Story of Manners, Magic and Romance", by Sarah Prineas, "Moon Viewing at Shijo Bridge" by Richard Parks, and "Smoke and Mirrors" by Amanda Downum.
