So, I took the plunge and bought myself a computer. Everyone told me not to, saying there are too many problems with the new Vista and whatnot. I haven't met a computer yet that I don't have some technical problem with. I have a warranty so if there are problems, at least I'll get everything worked out. And this is interesting, I am a slight technophobe. While I love the abilities the internet offers, if necessary I can live without it. In fact I've been without it most of this month.
Hmm... so my mom is with this ass and his mother is like 92. She has Stage Two Dimensia. It's sad and serious and she must be taken care of 24 hours a day. This family is seriously messed up. While their mother is losing her mind, flushing socks down the toilet, missing the bathroom altogether, and stealing and hiding food, her three sons are talking about their inheiritance, her cremation, and how my mom's bf should take care of her for free. She moved in to their house, btw. There was talks of putting her into a home so she can be cared for. But two of her kids don't want that because that takes away the money they expect to get at her death. WHAT? Their concern is not her health or well-being or the fact that she is suffering from this disease that in many cases, once the suffer reaches Stage 5, they die, instead they are only thinking about her money.
Her one son, the jerk with my mom, he told his brothers their mom either stayed with him paying him to take care of her or she went to a home. But one of the brothers says it's all a lie. She's not sick. Right. And math was my best subject through school. I just don't get it. This is their mother. True, I've heard stories and she was not the best at being their mother, but still. All they want to do is hide. Pretend it's not real and maybe it will go away. But it won't. My mom used to work at an Assisted Living home and my sister still does. These people do not get better, they get worse. It's just so frustrating seeing the stupidity that resides within this family.
