Hey everyone! Welcome to my journal. Here's is where you can read about my life and insights. Normally I do a pretty good job of keeping it interesting and a bad job of keeping it at a readable length. So check back often. I try to update a couple of times a week. This journal is friends only, so if you're interested please drop a comment below

It was okay/good. But it was a simple story and a remake of another classic, so maybe it wasn't their fault. Of course, it was beautiful as usual. But if you're a Studio Ghibli fan, I'd say watch it, and you'd definitely appreciate it. If not, you wouldn't really be missing much.

Other than new anime, there's also the classics that can be watched. What sort of anime are you into?

Let's see... I watch a lot of comedy, slice of life, or fantasy related stuff. I wouldn't say there's a certain genre I go for more than others. I loved Prince of Tennis, Hikaru no Go, K-On!... Azumanga Daioh and Mushi-shi are my two all time favourite shows.
How about you? or actually, I'm heading out to go play some badminton with a friend, but I'll be back later tonight if you want to continue this conversation =]

Slice of Life, huh? Have you seen the "Aria" series? "Aria the Animation" is season one. Really good series, in my opinion. Its at a steady pace, but it gives you that glowing, good feeling as the episodes go on. Plus, staring at the ocean in the background is eye candy all on its own.
I love K-On!. I haven't finished the second season or watched the movie yet, however. Waiting to watch that with my girlfriend soon [though we're watching Buffy right now]. I loved Prince of Tennis and still need to watch Mushi-shi.

Are you caught up with Sherlock?
Reply
Yup, I'm caught up on Sherlock. I started watching it because most of my Whovian friends were crazy about it. I don't know much about the original mysteries, but I still love it just the same. British/Moffat wit is so good.
Though I'm not sure if it's an unpopular opinion, but I prefered Moffat's stuff while Russell Davies was still the head writer. Or maybe I just miss Tenant still lol
