Hey everyone! Welcome to my journal. Here's is where you can read about my life and insights. Normally I do a pretty good job of keeping it interesting and a bad job of keeping it at a readable length. So check back often. I try to update a couple of times a week. This journal is friends only, so if you're interested please drop a comment below ( Read more... )

I agree. It was a lot better than I thought it was going to be. They're damn good at making these movies, heh. Well I haven't seen it myself yet, but there's also "Karigurashi No Arrietty." Have you seen that yet? Any good?

Mmm, I have. I saw the leaked subbed version of it last month I think.

It was okay/good. But it was a simple story and a remake of another classic, so maybe it wasn't their fault. Of course, it was beautiful as usual. But if you're a Studio Ghibli fan, I'd say watch it, and you'd definitely appreciate it. If not, you wouldn't really be missing much.

Heh. I'm definitely a Miyazaki fan. Sorry I don't have any fresh things to recommend to you! Good anime is rare. But I've heard Gosick is good. I haven't seen that myself yet.

Ah, I haven't actually heard of that one.

Its one of the top anime on a list somewhere. I think its one of those, detective, damsel in distress sort of anime. Then there's "Puella Magi Madoka Magica" if you're into the Magical-girl anime. And lastly, "Steins;Gate" has been rated the top anime of 2011 on several lists, or at least part of the top three. I haven't seen these, but I plan to eventually.

Other than new anime, there's also the classics that can be watched. What sort of anime are you into?

heheh, all stuff I haven't seen before! Sweet stuff.

Let's see... I watch a lot of comedy, slice of life, or fantasy related stuff. I wouldn't say there's a certain genre I go for more than others. I loved Prince of Tennis, Hikaru no Go, K-On!... Azumanga Daioh and Mushi-shi are my two all time favourite shows.

How about you? or actually, I'm heading out to go play some badminton with a friend, but I'll be back later tonight if you want to continue this conversation =]

Heh, have fun! I might be on later tonight or I might not be. Either way, I've added you as a friend. So if you leave me any messages, I'll be able to reply to you when I get back.

Slice of Life, huh? Have you seen the "Aria" series? "Aria the Animation" is season one. Really good series, in my opinion. Its at a steady pace, but it gives you that glowing, good feeling as the episodes go on. Plus, staring at the ocean in the background is eye candy all on its own.

I love K-On!. I haven't finished the second season or watched the movie yet, however. Waiting to watch that with my girlfriend soon [though we're watching Buffy right now]. I loved Prince of Tennis and still need to watch Mushi-shi.

Buffy... that's one series I need to get around to watching lol.

Heh. Yeah, I just started it with her. She's in love with the series, so I thought I'd watch it. Seeing as she watched the entire Doctor Who series with me xD Can't find the torrent? Me neither. It might not be on DVD yet. I'll have a look around. If I find it I'll share with you =]

Nice. Kudos on the Doctor Who. Do you guys watch Torchwood too? Or Sherlock?

And thanks, if I manage to find it I'll shoot the torrent your way too.

We haven't started Torchwood yet, but I'm a fan of Sherlock. I got her to watch the first season/first three episodes of Sherlock, and she loves it~ I'm a big fan of Sherlock Holmes, and its interesting to see the different variations Moffat comes up with. Its unpredictable, even to the people who know the original mysteries.

Are you caught up with Sherlock?

Ooo you guys are going to love Torchwood. It's kind of like Doctor Who, but much more adult in its nature and content.

Yup, I'm caught up on Sherlock. I started watching it because most of my Whovian friends were crazy about it. I don't know much about the original mysteries, but I still love it just the same. British/Moffat wit is so good.

Though I'm not sure if it's an unpopular opinion, but I prefered Moffat's stuff while Russell Davies was still the head writer. Or maybe I just miss Tenant still lol
