Please pray for my mom
My dad just called me and told me that my mom had a heart attack and that she's in surgery right now. I'm headed to Tupelo and probably won't be back until Wednesday. Please pray for her, I know God will take care of her but this is still really scary. I'll try to post more as I learn more.

I've been at the hospital for about three hours now, and mom's somewhat fine. She had a heart attack caused by clot in a minor artery, and the surgeons were able to operate by placing a stint in the artery, clearing out the blockage. She's out of surgery now and I talked to her about two hours ago. She looked beat up, but I told her that I thought I'd had the wrong room at first because I mistook her for a supermodel. She was feeling really self-conscious, and I told her that if nothing else she helped me get out of a final that I was unprepared for tomorrow. That made her laugh a little bit, and it helped cut the tension a little bit. I still have a hard time believing what happened, though. I wonder if I may need to spend more time in Tupelo to help take care of her.
But yeah, they're keeping her here for a day or two, and it's looking like she may be out on Wednesday or Thursday. I'm pretty relieved, and I know God is in full control of the situation.
