Today has been an...intense day. After a rather silly evening out (we're still getting used to Madrid time, let's just say), we slept in. Then we went to a museum (the name escapes me right now), which is set up in a pretty neat way. It has art from the 15th century through almost the present. I'm a HUGE fan of modern art. And not so much for the Middle Ages, or Renaissance, or classical paintings. So, I sped through them and when I got to the 19th century painting, my mood picked up and I relaxed. Like, that's how much I love modern art. There was a lot of amazing stuff at this museum. But, on the way home,
crazykawaii got into a discussion about modern vs. classical art, and we both pushed pretty hard. Plus, I'm a pretty big art snob. I know that. Usually, I can end conversations like that easily, because it's all a matter of taste, but somehow I didn't. Until she pointed out to me that I was being a really big jerk. Damn it.
And then I started having technological problems. I was in the middle of aim conversations when my internet died. Because one of my roommates decided to pick that moment to switch to a secured wireless network without warning us first. Said switch, by the way, didn't actually end up working on Collin (since he's so special), and we're back with an unsecured network that doesn't actually work very well. Lovely. And? I got a blue screen of death. Lovely.
Tomorrow: el Rastro for gifts for my family.
