(no subject)
I was going to make a really angsty post about how horrible my Spanish is, and how taking a 2 hour dance class in which I am behind after not dancing for 3 weeks is really, really hard, but after I got home, complained to crazykawaii a bunch, and took a shower, I started up my computer to find two really exciting e-mails. The first was from one of my favorite people from high school, who I rarely hear from. The other is from one of my fantastic roommates in DC, who sent me a link to information on the Baltimore accent! Being from Bawlmer, I am extremely aware of the Bawlmerese accent, but lack the ability to imitate it. So, my friends all think that I'm a lunatic when I try to explain it. So: everyone that I have failed to explain our regional accent to should read about it. It does exist!
