Butterfly began to fall and it was lovely. the others would roll thier eyes and disapprove, but she barely noticed. it was not like she needed to see him everyday, but to hear his voice was a must. something so soothing about wanting something and getting it everyday. the calliber with witch she called out made the ponds ripple and the moon blush. how could she do it all for the first time and still feel certain that it was going right. even when he was down she was sure he was right.
Butterfly flew and they took notice...but Holiday was now returning to her with arms open and a lip for something more. she pushed him away and felt the fear burn behind her eyes when he told her she was living a lie.
-Butterfly, its not you to go so willingly into something so real-he looked at her beneath the burnt main and the blue eyes that pierced into her soul.
-you don't know me anymore, you do not have a say.-she hugged to her body the pillow
-please, Butterfly, i just need one more chance.....-he took a step and touched her shoulder. Butterfly felt her body shudder.
-Holiday, don't do this..please, its not worth your effort.
-you are telling me it is pointless?
-yes
-but i need you
-why?
-you changed me!
-i influenced you
-you helped me
-that doesn't make what we had worth resurecting
-it does to me
-i can't help you anymore-she looked to the wall and saw the picture-i have moved on my dear, you had me, i fixed your damage, and now you are right for the world.
-who?
-any one lucky enough to have you
-i want you
-i'm wanting something else
Holiday eased his frame onto the bed beside her. together they stared forth at the blank wall. he reached for her hand and she let him take it for a second and then she pulled away.
-this is over right?-Holiday shook his head
-i am sorry-Butterfly looked into the eyes and felt nothing for them.
-my heart is torn
-Holiday, you are a beautiful soul and i was nothing more then a stepping stone in your life...
-but you healed me-he turned to her the tears brimmed, but refused to fall.
-i only made you see what you already had.
-will there be others like you? who give and take so much? who leave me like this?
Butterfly smiled and shook her hair out. she grabbed his face between her palms and pulled him to her. a kiss on his forehead before she leapt from the bed and reached for the door.
-you should leave now Holiday, its time my dear.
-did you love me as i loved you?
-do you love yourself as you should?
-now i do, you showed me-carefully he came off the bed and placed his hand in hers. together the two silently walked the white wall past to the future. night had fallen and a breeze blew under the spring moon.
-Buterfly, please, don't leave me.
-i'm always right where you need me-she smiled and he felt it break inside.
-he is...good to you?
-yes
-i assume you are happy?
-i am always fabulous
he smiled for the first time and looked at her for the last time. not so long ago she had cried for him and now as he watched she glowed under his gaze. the sickness was eating away at her, but she did not notice and he knew that no one would save her, no one could. he had applied, but he was turned away. the name had been mentioned, and Holiday knew that Late was the one she smiled for.
as he pulled away from her she hugged her arms to her body. for a minute she wondered if what he had said was true, many say things of lie in passion. no, she had never loved him, but she had wanted to show him happiness. forcing her legs to move she slid back into her life. beneath the sheets she considered the world.
at home he fell to sleep and knew that it was only a matter of time before she would have to fly away, he was just glad to know that he had met her in time.
