I'm probably going to shoot someone within the next day or two.
I think that as a general rule, a professor should not be allowed to assign a project that she cannot do herself (or he cannot do himself). Because let's be real here: if you are unable to tell your students how to do the project, THEN WHAT THE HELL IS THE POINT?!
Seriously, this professor has assigned this project for which EVERY student in her class has contacted me about. Excuse me, but it is NOT my job to do YOUR job. I mean, FUCK.
Not to mention that HSEDSO, AASECT, NCATE, and all other sorts of acronym work seems to be piling up. And the thing is, it's all of this really stupid nit-picky shit that will take a long time to do. Grrrr...
And I don't even want to TALK about the fall semester and how fucked up it's going to be.
Oh, and I'm having surgery on Monday for my knee. So for 7 days beforehand I'm not allowed to use things like Motrin, Aleve, Advil, or the like, which would normally be okay, but I've got my period this week. And my uterus is NOT happy. Awesome. I'm also praying that I don't have to use crutches, because we did NOT get along.
On a more positive note: I've been getting a really good reaction to my fan fiction. I just posted chapter 14 yesterday, and people seem to like it. It's really a boost of self-esteem, I'm not gonna lie.
