First and foremost, I ask for forgiveness both for the delay and for this enormous post for three two matches! I had a lot of things to do and I wasn't even home when Palermo played against Cagliari (actually, I was in Cagliari when Palermo-Cagliari was in Palermo, can you believe it?!), so, well, sorry again.
That said, what seemed like a very good start for Rosanero's not so slowly turning in a nightmare in which Delio Rossi wakes up at five AM every night because Zamparini's threats have been echoing in his ears all night long. We all hope Palermo manage to get a hold of themselves starting from tonight against Sparta Prague. Else, I can perfectly see what kind of future awaits the coach, the team and all the supporters, and I really don't like it.
(This guy was the only one actually working on the 26th of August.)

Say hi to Delio arriving in Maribor.
And Balza's hair.
Pimp!Pastore was pimping.
Garcia and Munoz were looking good, especially Garcia's hair.
While Maccarone seemed a bit unsure on where he was and why.
But Cassetti looked FABULOUS, and that's why Delio decided to take him to the press conference, later.
See? Fabulous.
And this man sure knows what fabulous is.
(Seriously, am I the only one finding him WAY more attractive when he's got this enormous beard?)
Yes, Delio, we won't forget you're the star of the press conference.
BUT SERIOUSLY.
Mwanwhile on the pitch,
Pastore and Hernandez were having fun. Raise your hands if you weren't expecting it!
*aww moment*
Back to Delio.
What, Delio? Enough with training? Moving on to the match? You sure?
Cos it definitely was nothing special, you know. At least according to Sirigu's expression.
You know, as much as I hate Zampa, I really have to say what he said after the match was right.
He shouldn't have said it out loud to the press, obviously, but it's true Palermo played like they were sure they'd win, one way or another.
And that's definitely the way to lose matches.
Hi Liverani \o/
Delio wants to know if someone actually managed to show up on the pitch.
Yes, someone did, Delio.
Abel is unstoppable.
He was the only one believeng til the very last Palermo could really win the match.
If it wasn't for him, they wouldn't even pass the turn, despite the great 3-0 victory of the first leg. And for this reason he was very loved from his teammates.
He scored twice, btw. Exactly what we needed to make three Maribor goals perfectly useless.
And he celebrated with Pastore.
Cos that's what he does.

So, in the last few days of the summer window, right after the Maribor match, Palermo decided to buy two Maribor's players, one of which (Ilicic, on the left) had just scored against them.
Good luck to both of them, may them be worthy of the team \o/
I didn't see the match, but I heard it was pretty boring.
Though I can't see how a match in which someone tries to undress Pastore could be boring at all.
I bet the boys was good, as usual.
Just like his BFF, though no one of them scored, this time.
Cagliari is a very well organized team, btw, so I guess a 0-0 draw could be considered a good result.
Especially if we think about the great match they had against Roma.
Delio is, btw, a very very very sad man.
And he has reasons to be like this, considering who's his president.
Let's give Captain!Cassetti some love. God, is that armband going around a lot, these weeks.
Bye bye, babies.
I would have loved to picspam Brescia-Palermo here too, but Sparta Prague-Palermo just started and I really wanna watch the match, so I guess I'll do a picspam in about two days for the Brescia match and tonight match :)
