Roma: Yay, we didn't draw!

Oct 05, 2009 18:01

Roma are on a two-game winning streak after beating CSKA Sofia 2-nil at home mid-week in an EL match, and beating Napoli 2-1 just yesterday thanks to a brace from, you guessed it, Capitano Totti. Fra now ties Batistuta's record for 184 goals scored in Serie A, making Fra the 8th highest scorer of all time. That's 24 goals in 28 games so far this season, not bad for an on-and-off injured guy of 33 years of age, ain't it?

So there, Capi Checco was just breaking records and cementing his place in history over the weekend, no biggie y'all.

The new record excited the Vice Captain; hence the hairpull. Y'all know the deal with these Romans.

Mid-week, Roma beat CSKA Sofia 2-0 thanks to a goal from Simo:

... and Roman homeboy Stefano Okaka Chuka:

Get a room you two.

It wasn't long before the Roman koala joined in:

NGL, I'm feelin' this sandwich right here.

OKAKA, I SEE YOUR HAND TRYNA FEEL UP DANIELINO'S ASS!

It's hard to tell whether DDR is enjoying his junk in the trunk being felt up, but g'on.

Homeboy Alessio Cerci (yeah, he's Roman. Live it, learn it.) was late to the sandwich, but he made it anyway:

OK so yesterday, Roma played hosts to Napoli at the Olimpico. Mirko showed off his mammary glands:

Cassetti was injured, so Marcolino started! But then ten minutes into the match, this happened

...and so the injured Cassetti (pictured below, not jizzing) had to come on.

Interestingly enough, Cicinho (the third RB) is also out injured, so yeah- all our RBs are on the treatment table. Good times.

So following their first clean sheet of the season (midweek), Roma leaked another goal versus Napoli, who scored the opener through Lavezzi.

^Nico was stellar though; he kept the venereal carrier in check.

Roma equalized through Fra, who scored another freak goal (like Daniele's equalizer vs. Catania) when the ball deflected off his knee, hence redirecting it right into the net. It was lobbing high too, but it went in anyway, phew!

1-all, bitches.

Cerci was first to congratulate this time...

... until the Roman koala third-wheeled again to make it an all-Roman sandwich:

Really, they're making a habit out of this, aren't they? Not that I'm complaining.

Yeah, Daniele. Tell us how you really feel.

LOL did y'all see when they were whispering ~secrets~ behind their kits? So qt ♥

Oh there was a little aggro moment when Mirketto and Cannabro had a headbutting incident, for which they were both booked.

It wasn't hot, IDK, my ovaries must be malfunctioning.

Wait, scratch that; the ovaries are fine. They totally weren't disinterested toward this:

Yeah Cannabro, stare at dat ass.

So then it was a stalemate for a while until Fra scored a kickass screamer from right around the D.

With that, Roma took over the lead making it 2-1 to the Giallorossi.

Hot Chocolate Faty was all up on his Captain.

Oh yeah, Frenchie was in the stands, out of the lineup for being injured. (Hollah if you have pics. I only saw him in my live feed looking fresh and feminine. ♥) Partnering Nico in central defense was Droid.

As usual, the Vice Captain showered his Captain with hugs:

Not jizzing his pants:

But Fra hurt himself when he took the shot from just outside the penalty area, so he couldn't exactly celebrate the way he always had :{

Even a hairpull from DDR couldn't get Fra in the mood :{

Diagnostics today confirmed Fra will have to be out for 15-20 days to rest the tendon he strained. There are no serious tears, but he'll have to rest for 2 weeks.

Thankfully, we got international duty coming up, so Fra could rest. Capi hopes to be back in 2 weeks in time for the away trip to Milan.

Tinkerman: Don't panic, Checco. The Roma medical team will take care of you!
Fra: Yeah, that's what I was afraid of. :\\\

Get well soon, Checco! This team will fire blanks without you in it. I'm looking at YOU MIRKETTO.
