Roman Captains 3 - 1 Fiorentina
The Captain bagged a brace; the vice-Captain cemented the win with a third goal.
You bet your ass there's going to be a frontal glomp.
^That was when Roma went up 3-0 on La Viola in front of the home crowd. Need I explain why they're so amped?
Last weekend, Roma defeated Siena 2-1 thanks to goals by Riise and Mexes:

Alright so the first goal came courtesy of a penalty converted by Checco.
Mirketto was extra-amped since he earned the PK when the ref called a handball on Gamberini, who was marking Vucinic.

So with Fra's rigore, Roma lead Fiorentina 1-0.
Minutes later, Fra once again hit the back of the net, but the goal was ruled offside. That would've put Roma up 2-nil.
Worry not, Captain Checco would later score another goal to give Roma a 2-goal lead.
Fra chased down a loose ball that came off a corner kick and struck it on the volley. Goal Roma!

"Who's 'PREDICTABLE' now, hmm Ranieri?"
Prior to the match, Claudio Ranieri publicly labeled Fra as a predictable player, and said his style of play has been deciphered by everyone by now-- including "rocks."
Fra: You kidding me with this? I score a brace and all I get is a hug from Perrotta?

2 goals for Roma, 2 goals for Fra. It was a very good night for the "predictable" Captain.
The Vice-Captain was amped about the surprising lead.
Little did he know, he was next to appear on the score sheet.
Because Totti was on fire, he not only scored two goals, but also set-up the third goal for De Rossi.
DDR headed a precise Totti cross right into goal to make it 3-0 to Roma.
It was DDR's second goal in 4 games this season. Not bad for someone who plays defensive-mid.
He's so excited. And he just can't hide it.

Trufax, yo. Mexes didn't start today, poor thing. He wasn't injured or anything; Ranieri just thinks he sucks.

DDR's post-match comment: Every victory can be the turning point. My first thought after winning are my teammates, including those who train hard and sit on the bench on the weekend.

Mexes later came on for Juan. But just within minutes of the substitution, Fiorentina scored a late consolation goal.
In Mexes' defense, however, it was Perrotta who gave away possession in midfield, which led to Gila scoring on the counter-attack. Philou went one-on-one with Gila, but yeah, Frenchie's been sucky lately, so... goal to Viola.
Then the final whistle blew and shirts came off...
The Romans got naked:
