Alberto Paloschi saved Italy’s U-19 side from defeat against Greece
in their European Championship opener last night.

so what I can do is relying on min-by-min matchcast. boo.


Interesting. 2 main forces behind impressive Qualification rounds like Okaka and Garibaldi,
the latter said to be U-19 version of De Rossi, were not even on the bench.
I'm not sure if they were injured, suspended or just simply misbehavin'

but that could explain our attack stuttering.
c'mon, 16 shots with only 4 on target!?


Last year's runner-up Greece took the lead in 23rd min from Michail Pavlis, from an assist of Sotiris Nini.
That Nini boy, #7, happended to be last year MVP and has been featured in Greece senior NT. Woah.


But sounded like after conceded, Azzurrini poured forward.
Paloschi seemed to have a good game. he hit cross bar once in late first half


and one of his almost-goal effort was also blocked by Greek DF. Poor boy

While I was following matchcast, I feel like it's 2007 U-21 all over again!
Great Qualification performances with squad blessed by big names..only to bombed out in first round! >=O

Thank goodness, at min 90, Greek player fouled Poli in penalty box, and ref did not hesitate to give Azzurrini a lifeline PK.

Paloschi buried it. He shot straight at middle of the goal.
was that gutsy or dumb? but hell, it worked!
