CAGLIARI 1 - 1 ROMA

Mar 31, 2008 11:15

Don't let the score fool you, Roma had a good game. Well, attack-wise at least, since CB Matteo Ferrari was generous enough to score for the opponent . Sarcasm and own goals aside, Roma had numerous scoring opportunities, but couldn't quite finish [the shots were always just-wide and admittedly, Fra just isn't a natural when it comes to heading * ( Read more... )

i) OH, MY POOR ACQUA'S FACE! *squishes him* He was full of the crazy faces, and low on the strippage. I am disappointed.

ii) Don't know about the scarf, but Carletto was wearing a self-same one yesterday, so it must be ... something.

iii) MARCO STORARI IS SMASHING.

iv) I was so proud of my Sardines, they just kept on trying. It was a good game.

v) (Guy on his knee is Diego Lopez. His hair's grown a bit since then.)

i) Awww *pets* he'll score for you in the next match! Oh, wait, it's Milan up next for the Sardines. I'm not sure how you'd want that to go-- a draw, maybe?

ii) But Mancio wasn't and neither was Cesare, so only Carletto and Spal then? It must be some sort of a charity that they support?

iv) I agree, it wasn't boring-- two teams desperate for points going at it always make for a great match [If it weren't for that OG, it would've been one of the best ones this season, right up there with Roma-Parma, return leg]

v) (Oooooh, thank you! I'll keep an eye on him from hereon in ;p)

i) I am refusing to think about it. It might go away.

ii) I have no idea. Some detective work is in order, methinks!

v) (You're welcome. I'm just disappointed there wasn't more Matri.)

i) How about a Milan win, but with Acquafresca scoring once [and stripping]?

ii) Google tells me LILT is a softdrink manufactured by the Coca Cola Company. LOL what a big help that was :[

v) I know! I was constantly scanning the pitch for him, too! He only came on late in 2H for Acqua :\ The hell, both jailbaits should be allowed to play simultaneously!

1)This picture is awesome. I want a lens like that.
2)LOLOLOLOLOL It's so nice to see other teams' midfielders doing the ole defense.
3)Ludo is such a pimp. If Fra really doesn't play tomorrow, I might even be able to root for your boys.
4)Re our conversation last night -- Gazzetta has DDR and Pizza sitting in front of the defense tomorrow, with Aquilani right in front of them, between the Brazilians. Is that possible?
5)Best. Caption. EVAR.
6)*bites tongue really, really hard*
7)Dude, Alberto was awesome. He's totally got his pre-injury form back, hasn't he?
8)"Girl, his eyes really ARE that close together! No lie!"
9)I don't think anyone else wore that scarf on the weekend. Was Fra wearing one? Maybe it's to do with that club they're saving single-handedly? :P
10)*pats Philou's pretty hair*
11)The OG was so weird -- Doni seemed to move so slowly to stop it, like he was just in total disbelief that it was actually happening.
12)Espo = pretty. Why doesn't he ever play?
13)LOLZ Apparently Aquafresca has been attending the school of ... )

3) Fra REALLY isn't playing; it's not an elaborate ruse, unfortunately :{ He wasn't on the call sheet, and neither are Juan and Simone.
3.b) re: you saying Fra missing won't be that bad: Gazzetta [I think] had this tally of matches won WITH and WITHOUT Fra, and interestingly enough, we won MORE mathes WITHOUT him, than when he's in the squad. This is comforting news.
4) Definitely possible! Aqui is actually vice-Pizarro as well as vice-Perrotta and he can play treq, so that's a plausible line-up. I remember actually prefering him in that AMF role, rather than a DMF, but then he and DDR in the mid is just too good to pass up ;) Too bad Ludo would have to be benched, though, but if and when Spal decides Taddei is being way too slow, Ludo might come on in the 65th. There is hope for a mini Frenchie sighting ( ... )

3b)SEE!??! Not only is he dicky, but he makes me you lose, too! *slips the armband under Dani's door with a note telling him NOT TO GIVE IT BACK*
4)*pouts* I forgot about that meaning no Ludo. Bugger.
7)Yeah, in my head, that Real match was when he was back. He was out so long, it took him a while to get back into the rotation, and it seemed like he needed to play regularly for a few weeks before he returned to full power.
9)ROFFLES They're pimping for soda?
12)How old is he? Much older than he looks, right? *ignores Pippo*
14)He was so cute, trying not to go to the ref, like he was slightly worried about getting his ass beat.

3b) Oh so you're slipping him notes under the door now, are you? :P *icon icon icon*
4) Taddei has this habit of getting ill right before big CL matches [he got the fever just before taking the pitch when 7-1 happened] so if something like that happens, Ludo's on.
9) LOL No, I think it's a different LILT. Soda!LILT has a different logo?
12) 28
14) He better be cautious about getting booked, yo. Daniele only has one booking to give, and he's out on perma-ban if he gets his 12th booking. Philou must behave.

MIRKO IS STARTING =)
[Spal has no choice since Totti isn't even called up, and Mirko is our only other lone striker :\]

OMG must read transcript of interview! I bet he's all "WE ARE GOING TO SLAUGHTER UNITED" the poor deluded boy *cuddles him* But I love his ~fighting spirit~

I'm about to post their airport arrival pics, the Red Devils. WTF MARTHA! NANI ISN'T PLAYING! IS THIS TRUUUUUE!?

He's looking all serious and ~captainy~.

*sigh* I hope he didn't say that, that he really needs to learn to stop getting the other team fired up. There's nothing wrong with quiet confidence, is there?

LOLOLOL *pats* Really? I have no idea, I don't know shit about United. He played this weekend, though, I know that. Is he hurt?

You missed a spot. *points to puddle of drool* razor2rozary March 31 2008, 16:29:39 UTC
Oh, what else did the probable formation rumours say? Is Panucci starting? Because if he isn't, DDR wears the armband. *flails*

Hold up, I'll read up on his transcript. [And then Nani LOLOL]

1) His med staff [he has his own?] are saying he'll be fine for the return leg. So it looks like he'll only be missing this and possibly Genoa. He'll be ready for April 9th-- away to Trafford we go.
2) OIC, thanks, I only saw this on delayed telecast and wasn't really paying attention, since I already knew how it was going to end, and wasn't really happy about it. :{
3) Well look at that dude eyeing the ball like it was a piece of steak! :P
4) So, so pretty, that Cassetti <3
5) Do you recognize it? Is it supposed to mean something? Is it of a cartoon? Why is it so colourful? And did he get it in Spain? Why am I asking you all these questions? LOLOL
6) OMG OMG I heard about it a long time ago! I'll keep an eye out and will show you as soon as I find it =)
