ROMA 1 - 0 FIORENTINA [MEGASPAM MAXIMUS EDITION!]
Phew. So Roma are back to their winning ways. We're back to our usual attacking selves and ditched the "sit back and defend" attitude. Panucci wasn't feeling well and so Cici took his place, and tore up the right wing, linking up efficiently with Taddei in the first half [Yay, Gobz is getting better!]. Roma were without the suspended Amantino, so the left wing was a bit dead with Mirko covering, but he came out firing after the break, and even assisted Cicinho for the only goal of the match! It was Cici's first goal in the Roma shirt, which explains all the RAAAAAH-ness [Although I see it more of a, "You see Spalletti! This is why you should start me!"]. 66 minutes into, Spal pulled Mirko out and replaced him with Cassetti, effectively switching to defense mode. Subsequent changes followed to field the usual starters Pizarro and Perrotta, to my disappointment, but that's Spal for you. I really wanted Giuly and Mirko to stay; Mirko was just getting the hang of things, feeding through balls to Ludo/Fra [God, if only Ludo had a few extra inches added to his legs and he actually got to his crosses on time]. But we held, and took home the 3 points, and are once again 4 points ahead of Juve in the table, yes! So let's get to the photos because there's a whole lot of them.
