JUVE 1 - 0 ROMA

Feb 19, 2008 10:04

So I just saw the first half [and some of the second] and off the top of my head, we slacked that entire first 45, sat back and played defense the entire time. The thing is, this is how we beat Lyon away last year in CL's [so we Romanisti can't blame this whole thing on Spal's tactical shortcomings; it has worked before!]-- everyone was at the back ( Read more... )

1)I love this picture, how did he manage to get his head turned around that quickly?
2)I thought the same thing about DDR, but everyone but you and me thought he was amazing -- he got MOTM from everyone. WTF?
3)Is caught between ROFFLES and Awwwwwws.
4)Poor emo Frenchie! *blowdries his hair for him*
5)*GLARES* Mexes will no be losing weight. He's big-boned, dammit, it works!
6)Ranieri's coat nearly made me die of love. You know at least least half the coaches in Serie A sat up on their couches when that came on the screen, and went "Damn, I gotta get me one of those!"
7)LOL It looks like a bomb went off, or something.
8)A Zanetti! &hearts I realized during this match that I really like all three Zanettis in Serie A. I wonder if there are any living around here that I can date.
9)Jesus, image-obsessed much, you two?

2) See we have high standards when it comes to DDR; we know what he's capable of and that he could do much better. Nobody in Roma really deserved MOTM, but that free kick from way out totally on-target [grr, Gigi! :o] was probably the best thing Roma got going for them, hence the MOTM. But really, DDR was not himself. I was watching and going, "You are so saving yourself for Madrid, aren't you" only to find out he may not even play. This is bad, ok!? The last time someone had a fever prior to CLs, we got 7-1'd [Taddei & his flu].
3) He looks like a really retro deodorant-- the roll-on kind, you know LOL
4) He'd love that, the vain little thing ♥
5) LOLOLOL why, would him losing weight destroy the Frenchubs_TP :P [And how is Seb? I don't mind him missing Roma if it means the Serb keeper will play]
6) Mancio hopefully being one of them. And Sini in matching dead-animal coats.
8) There's Christian and Javi, who's the third one again? Date Javi LOL ♥

2)You make me feel better. Really, I was worried I was a complete moron -- he was just way less involved than usual, wasn't he? Even when he has to sit in and protect Pizza (*eyeroll*), he usually still puts himself about way more than he did again stupid Juve. [I've just been told DDR will play, so don't worry. Pizza, however, probably will as well, which SUCKS for Dani, since he'll have to wander around behind him the whole damn match.]
5)EXACTLY. He needs to be chubs, that's probably where he gets his mojo. Plus, he'd look freaky all thin. (From what I can tell with useless Google translate, Frey's got a hamstring problem but it's not bad. He'll probably miss the match on Thursday and be back for Roma. And the Serb SUCKS. That's why you want him to play, isn't it?)
6)It's scarily easy to picture those two working that sweet collar, but it's so bit it might made the Mentos-noshing a bit less smooth ....
8)Toro have Paolo! He's awesome, too. [LOL Somehow I feel his wife might object to that, damn woman.]

2) He was totally less involved. The whole time I was thinking, what is this some ploy/act to make Madrid think this is how Roma play, that we just sit back and watch the opponents play us? [*breathes in relief* Thank you, thank you. Well think of it this way, Dani wandering behind Pizza means Dani right in front of Philippe, which is ♥ If Pizarro plays like shit again, Aqui better play the match of his life!]
5) I'm not saying he should be like Guti-caliber thin. Maybe 5 lbs. off, like how he was last year. (LOLOL *hums* I may have ulterior motives to the Serb playing.)
8) Right! How could I forget, a Toro!

*laughs* Do you think they would find it odd for me to cold-call them, verify their names, and ask them all out?

Oh I know where they can go! They can go to the SoHo district. Zlatan has a place there [Spring & Varick] ♥
