At least you weren't on babysitting duty for half of it.

One of our group decided to try and be a big hero and ran off alone. Sasuke took care of him, and we found the note.

If that had happened in our group, someone probably would have ended up dead. We were swarmed by the monsters.

You found a note? What did it say?

Strangely enough, we didn't encounter any crabs. Everything was cleaned and laid out for us. ...I don't like it.

Here, I'll copy it: S53229 START CV102TH END SC57 M00249 START CV102TH END W42M18281 START CV102TH END W42S66663 START CV109ULT END CCL42710 START CV108PIN END BGL67991 START CV102TH END E96S04591 START CV108PIN END BGS38336 START CV108PIN END SC57M46710 START CV109ULT END CCS05023 START CV102TH END WSL20054 START CV109ULT END CHL83011 START CV109ULT END SC57S59952 START CV109ULT END W42M36743 START CV108PIN END E96 S00045 START CV108PIN END E96S94122 START CV109ULT END CCM56892 START CV102TH END CCM00467 START CV108PIN END W42S98123 START CV102TH END GCL77447 START CV102TH END E96S01010 START CV108PIN END SC57

No monsters whatsoever? That is highly suspicious.

That looks like a code...perhaps of movements or a list of supplies. But I don't know how to crack it.

Not to mention the area was entirely cleaned and fixed up where the note was laid out.

Me, my teammates, and a few others are working on it. We already have a number of different suggestions.

If we do solve it, I'll inform you.

You don't suppose it was there specifically for you to find, was it?

Excellent. But what suggestions do you have?

Sure seemed that way.

Morse code, subway stops, brand numbers, a schedule, to name a few.

It's possible it could have been planted there to lead us off the real trail, then.

But nothing on how to actually escape from here...

...a fake note?

I hadn't considered that.

It's a possibility!

But if it IS fake, it seems like it would be lots easier to decipher.

Not usually. Some codes are purposely difficult to crack to make the person believe it's the real deal.

It was laid out for us on a silver platter. It has to be a trap.

We can't be certain until we figure out how to crack the code.
