Dammit.  Explorer crashed, I copied my entry-in-progress, and it deleted it.  Bastard LJ.

This'll sound familiar to readers of my aim away messages.  I was complaining that Team 31, the group at WashU that puts on a bi-annual concert known as WILD finally decided to get a decent musical act, now that I'm going to miss it.  Ben fucking Folds, those ( Read more... )

Why the fuck are you still using Internet Explorer? It's like Crash-on-a-Stick. So psyched about Ben Folds, i.e. someone who doesn't suck. The one problem I have with it is that it's on a Saturday night, so the drunken assholes will be even more drunk. My suitemate should have time to start drinking at 11am, get alcohol poisoning, go to the hospital to get treated, and come back in time for the show.
Also psyched about NAQT SCT.

Because I'm too lazy to switch all my favorites to Firefox, which I've had on my computer for nigh on 2 years now.

Dude, when you install Firefox, it asks "Do you want to import all your favorites from IE?" The trick is to click "Yes."
Rumor has it Brantley wants to go abroad next year for the whole year. If this comes to pass, this may be our best shot at a trophy for the Undergrad competition. Good luck this weekend.

I don't recommend firefox. Sure it may not have as many viruses or ads, but I can't go a week without someone talking about how ticked off they are that such-and-such website doesn't work or doesn't display right with firefox. I'll check it out once it's a bit more universal, but until then I'll stick with old faithful.

And as many computer problems as I've had what with the reboots I've been talking about(which seem to be fixed now, thank God), I've never had problems with IE crashing. Do you have IE 6, at least? Have you run windows update in a while?

And I wonder if my Student ID will be able to get me into WILD. It got me into Gilbert Gottfried(they just looked at it and let me in), and if they just look at it I think it should work.

It should work. It doesn't say anything about graduation year. I know a girl who still uses hers to get the student discount at movie theaters though she graduated like 3 years ago.
