I didn't know you had seen the young master yet, Mr. Springfield. Perhaps you could bring over the different assortments of tea that you have, I'm sure that we can find something in exchange for it. The young master cannot go a day without at least three cups of tea.

[Negi sounds genuinely impressed; he usually had around the same amount per day himself, one at breakfast, one in the afternoon and one around bedtime.] I'd imagine he's nearly out of the tea I left for him last time! I'll bring a lot more. And it's no problem, please, you don't have to worry about trading for it.

Yes, something like that. I had taken a jar of lapsang souchong home with me, which left only three jars, and when I came back a few days later there were four again. I'm not sure it happens often, but...
Maybe it's not just people that are brought here at random, but items as well?
