What's wrong with this picture? Literally?
A (long) while ago, I signed up on a personals web site. Met a few geeks, went on some uncomfortable meet-ups, basically decided that "in person" was the way to find someone.

The photo is almost there, but I can see two problems.
One is the background ... bathroom in background doesn't say "hi, I'm fun and smart and charming and sexy", it sends a whole lot of subliminal messages about hygiene and kink which aren't really compatible and could be a turn-off even if the viewer doesn't consciously recognise it's a bathroom.
Two ... you look uptight. Your eyes are relaxed and friendly, and your skin is warm, and your hair is soft and gently flowing ... but your mouth looks tense and nervous. Could you have someone take the pic for you, so you can relax more? Try leaving your mouth open a little, and turning your head a little to the side so you're not looking at the camera full-on (it's less confrontational), and so the lighting doesn't flatten your features.
It might be worth putting a full-body pic in as well. A lot of men are attracted to non-stick-insects ... actually *attracted*, not just tolerant or desperate ... and at the very worst you'll weed out those who aren't. Sooner or later they'll find out anyway.
The profile is great. I'd date you based on that alone ... you come across as an interesting person. I do worry that you'll have some 8'11" giant show up, though, and have to carry a step-ladder around with you.
