You may laugh, but the best way I know to remove a song from one's head short of surgery is by singing "Puff the Magic Dragon." It will eliminate the song that's stuck while not becoming stuck itself. Try it and see what happens. It's worked for me many times. Good luck!

See, now this I don't get. "Puff the Magic Dragon"? "Rainbow Connection"? Why think of cloying songs, and what says those songs won't get stuck as well?
