Around here at Nick, they're having some sort of thingy where people are supposed to submit Day of the Dead-themed art for some sort of show they'll probably have in their little hallway gallery, over in the Big Crazy Building. The creator of our show has urged us writers to participate, too, and me being a big pay-attention-to-any-art-I-can-possibly-try whore, I decided to give it a whirl, especially after I was told that digital art counted too.
So I made a Photoshop thingy. I plan for it to print out at 11" x 17" and probably mount it on some foamcore, maybe find a big gothic-y frame somewhere. But there are two versions of it, one kind of simple and stark and one with an extra filter on it that changes the whole look. So, as usual, I'm going to run it past you fabulous people and see which you prefer.

ETA: Hmm. I'm not sure I'm going to enter it now. I asked the show's creator (a very positive, encouraging guy) if he thought it would fit in with the show. He had a whole "Encourage The Special Olympics Contestant" vibe of "Um...that's good for a retard!" ::watches my nerve fly out the window::
