I don't want to go back to the temp job tomorrow.
I don't want to work like a grown-up - or rather, a "normal", dreary, grown-up. I want to work like the largely-autonomous, exempt-for-special-duties grown-up I've gotten used to being.
I want to go to Starbucks in the morning with my laptop and work on my latest assignment, then go somewhere else later in the day and pore over writing a fic. I want to spend the rest of the time fiddling with Photoshop, re-designing my journal page and obsessively discussing the nature of Buffy. I want to be able to read/respond to LJ for as long as I want to, like the utterly nerdy fangirl I am.
What I don't want to do is spend 8 hours being interrupted from tasks, done with unnatural haste, because I'm expected to answer some else's phone. Hell, I don't usually answer my own phone.
Good thing Seen and I are gonna get that big-ass writing job we went out for, eh?
