WARNING
Under the cut are my feelings about tonight's episode. Therefore, if you have not yet seen it, and do not wish to be exposed to spoilers, please do not look under the cut! If you do, you will only have yourself to blame.

Where to begin? I guess I'll start with Millicent and Mouth since their story is the shortest. I'm happy that Millicent will be in Tree Hill on a regular basis now, because she and Mouth are good for one another. They're adorkable, but I love that about them. I was also excited for Mouth being able to break the news that Nathan was called up to the NBA.

Speaking of that...can I just say how proud and excited I am for Nathan right now? He fought hard to get to where he is. I just hope that he never takes it for granted because that would be a shame. I love Haley and Jamie's reaction to the news. Jamie made me cry, he was so cute the way he stared at the TV. Ugh...I am such a softy when it comes to this show! Seriously, it's sick.

I'm not quite sure what to make of this turn of events with Victoria, but she seemed awfully genuine with the things she had to say. I hope that Brooke and her Mom are FINALLY able to put the past behind them and start over. It was good to see Brooke finally get the things that she's wanted from Victoria for so long. She really does deserve it. I was also happy to see Brooke put her heart out there for Julian to take. It's about time that Brooke Davis gets a happy ending, and a true love of her own. Six years in the making, folks. That's a long time to watch someone suffer.

Then there's Dan. I have such mixed feelings about him, but then I think Dan has shown over the years that he has two personalities. He is capable of being a normal person with normal feelings. We've seen it from time to time, but the glimpses of it are always fleeting. I think because he's done so many horrible things that it's canceled out any good that he might have done. I thought it was interesting that he went to Whitey, but what other choice did he have? He knew he wouldn't find solace or answers with his sons, and he doesn't have a friend in the world to speak of. My gut tells me that a chunk of S7 will be spent exploring the final days of Dan's life. Maybe, just maybe, he will find a way to make amends for the things he's done. It would be a real shocker if CMM came back just to do an episode with Dan before he dies. I guess we'll just have to wait and see about that.

I guess I should mention Mia and Chase, but there isn't a whole to say. I kind of wish they would have cut that whole storyline because to me, it was just filler. I don't think anyone really cares about what's happening with Mia and Chase when we're losing two of the main characters.

That brings me to Lucas and Peyton. Ugh, Mark screwed with me again! I was pissed when the first commercial aired. There's Lucas in a dark room, comforting his child. We don't know if it's a boy or a gir, or if Peyton has survived. Damn Mark lol. I knew (thanks to my love of spoilers) that Peyton and the baby were going to be just fine, so I wasn't at all surprised that Peyton lived. Joe Davola promised a happy ending for Lucas and Peyton, and they most definitely got it. If Peyton had died, they most definitely would NOT have.

I will say that I was a little disappointed that there was no explanation about where Lucas and Peyton were headed. With everyone else, we can see where they're going in their lives, but the last thing we see is Lucas and Peyton driving off into the sunset with their baby. Now, it's cute and all, but it doesn't really give us much. I imagine there will be some sort of back story or flashbacks at the start of S7 to explain it all. Only time will tell.

I've heard a lot of people, and I agree, say that tonight's episode had a very series finale feel to it. That's very true. At first, I was like wtf's the point of watching S7, but then it occurred to me that this is a new beginning for the remaining characters. They have now gotten all the things they have ever wished for. Nathan is in the NBA. Brooke finally got the love she needed from her mother, as well as from Julian. Lucas and Peyton have each other and their baby. What else is there to want now that their dreams have come true? Sure they're all happy now, but can it really stay that way forever?

I'm really thinking that S7 is going to focus a lot on Dan, and that whole storyline, but I guess we'll find that out in a few months. I just hope that the show ends on as good a note as it did tonight, because as far as I'm concerned, tonight's episode was definitely a winner.

Oh, and I'm loving the use of classic rock for the codas of finales lol. I don't think any will top the use of Led Zeppelin in S3, but the Marshall Tucker Band was a pretty sweet choice too ♥
